Chippy manager gets lucky with Meadow Vale
The manager of a fish and chip shop in Northfield, Birmingham, is the latest winner of Meadow Vale Foods’ prize draw.
Michael Best, a dedicated frier at Gino’s Fish and Chip shop on Bristol Road South for over 10 years, won a 42-inch TV after he was chosen from entries made on the company’s website during December 2011.
“No-one believed me when I told them I’d won. Even when I showed them the winner’s email, they thought it was a hoax,” said Michael.
“The timing couldn’t be better though. My own TV broke just a couple of weeks ago, so I’m grateful to Meadow Vale for their belated Christmas present.”
Meadow Vale is running three further prize draws with the next one taking place on 1st February.
