Fried food tops poll of Brits' favourite food
With Chip Week due to get underway on Monday, a survey has confirmed our love affair with fried food with three quarters of Brits confessing to indulging once or twice a week.
The survey, which was carried out by P&G Professional, found that over half of the 3,000 participants rated the traditional English fry-up and chips as their favourite fried food. What’s more 40% of Brits say they’re most likely to eat fried food to beat the winter blues and 70% admit to fried food being a ‘guilty pleasure’.
