As you prepare for your Quality Award audit, there are some things that you should be made aware of. For example, you know when you are tidying out that cupboard or that corner that you always neglect, and the FQA inspection is a good excuse to do it, so the task is carried out and the 'junk corner' is pristine, like the rest of the shop, watch where you put the rubbish!
I went to carry out an inspection in one shop who had clearly done such a task prior to my visit, and had overlooked the fact that the back yard is classed as part of the shop, and therefore inspected with the same scrutiny as the interior of the unit.
Oversight pointed out to the manager, I went to the car to sharpen my pencil and on return the sight had been cleared. Don't put things off until tomorrow if you can do it today
Verdict: PASS
